Su e Zo (“Up and Down the Bridges” walk) is a spring event that involves\u00a0thousands of people in a walk for solidarity<\/strong> around Venice alleys: young and not-so-young people, families, school groups, sport teams, all together in a day devoted to meeting<\/strong>, friendship<\/strong> and solidarity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Every year different itineraries twist and turn through the less known areas of the city on the water, also touching its most famous landmarks. A day of sustainable tourism<\/strong>, respecting the city<\/strong> we are in, its art<\/strong>, its history<\/strong>, its real soul<\/strong> and its essence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The catch phrase: \u00abLight the Passion<\/b>!\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n The slogan for the 2026 Su e Zo, \u201cLight the Passion!\u201d<\/b>, is an invitation to rediscover the power of aggregation in play as a universal language of encounter and peace. This year, our walk is part of the Milano Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad<\/b>, a special opportunity to celebrate not only the energy of sport but, above all, the beauty of being together. The message is a threefold invitation to “light” three fundamental passions: a passion for sport and its values<\/b>, such as loyalty and friendship; a passion for others and our neighbours<\/b>, driven by the engine of solidarity and volunteering; and finally, a passion for Venice<\/b>, to be experienced and cherished with care. In harmony with this theme, the 2026 “Up and Down the Bridges” Cultural Itinerary<\/strong> presents \u201cGiochi Serenissimi: featuring regattas, rackets and acrobatics, Venice at play\u201d<\/b>. It will be a journey dedicated to the city’s centuries-old traditions, discovering how fun and historical challenges \u2014 from spectacular “voga alla veneta” regattas to ancient popular competitions \u2014 have always animated the streets and canals, making Venice a stage for life and sharing for centuries.<\/p>\n Any earnings coming from the “Up and Down the Bridges” walk have always been offered to organisations working in the educational or social fields, especially the schools of the local territory and the Salesian missions around the world. The “Up and Down the Bridges” walk is a real day of celebration: several folk groups<\/strong> put on their performance either in Saint Mark\u2019s square or in the smaller open spaces along the itinerary, creating a jubilation of colours and sounds<\/strong> that leave happy memories in everyone.<\/p>\n The event is promoted by the associations: TGS Eurogroup \u2013 A.Ge.S.C.
